First Time Here?

What to Expect

FROM THE DESK OF PASTOR GUY:

Welcome! It is a real joy for us to meet newcomers and to tell you about all the good things God is doing in our church family. For 130 years now, it has been Bethany's mission to love God with everything! That means that no matter where you have come from and where you are on your spiritual journey, we want to come alongside to inspire, equip and encourage you to live out a life that will bring glory to God and be a blessing to the world.

Here's all you need to know before you show up for your first Sunday morning worship service: Come as you are. Jesus simply says: "Come to me" and we say the same. Just come as you are and you are WELCOME!

In fact - we would like to welcome those who are single, married, or divorced. We welcome you if your filthy rich or dirt poor. We welcome you if you are skinny as a rail or could afford to lose a few (like some of us). You are welcome if you sing like a country western star, or can’t carry a tune in a bucket. You are welcome if you're over 60, but have not grown up yet, or you’re a teenager who is growing too fast. We welcome soccer moms and NASCAR dads. We welcome latte drinkers and junk food eaters. We welcome you if you are inked, pierced, or previously have had religion shoved down your throat. You are welcome if you got lost on our country road, or came to visit grandma and she thought you should come to church.  We welcome you because we are a group of imperfect people who are convinced that a relationship with Jesus can change everything and we gladly invite you to come along with us.
